Bantama MP pleads for 4 more years to do more

Hon. Daniel Okyem Aboagye, Member of Parliament for Bantama, is seeking re-election to enable him complement the interventions of the Nana Akufo-Addo administration.

He has submitted nomination forms to the Bantama Parliamentary Elections Committee to that effect and pleaded with delegates  to  support him in his bid based  by his experience based on his role as the government’s spokesman on economy and Member of the parliamentary Sub-committee on Roads.

The Bantama law maker stressed the need for stability and consistency in leadership of the party at all levels saying “Ghana needs stability in governance”.

According to him, NPP’s strength lay in leadership based on experience and strategy to hold onto power to execute policies and programmes for the benefit of the people.

The Global leadership award winner from the African Youth Assembly for Peace (AYAP), a non-governmental, non-profit making and non-political organization in Abuja, Nigeria has pledged to do a lot more for his constituents and the country when given the chance to represent the Bantama constituents.

The Bantama seat is also being fiercely contested by Francis Asenso-Boakye, a native of Bantama and the deputy chief of staff at the presidency in Accra.

Some of the delegates who accompanied the MP to the party secretariat at Bantama displayed placards  which extolled the qualities of the MP thus “Okyem is not rude”, Okyem is not corrupt” “Okyem is not greedy” and “Okyem is not selfish” in support of the MPs candidature.
