“Uplifting of this facility will be my first project as a Minister of Youth and Sports,” Mr Ayariga said on Thursday, July 17 when he toured the seemingly derelict facility in North Kaneshie, Accra.

He was joined on the inspection tour by the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Ras Mubarak, and other functionaries of the Youth and Sports Ministry.

He said he will immediately engage the Armed Forces for work to begin.

It is a multi-sports facility that can host a wide range of indoor disciplines.
