Anas exposé: CID summons 7 Police, 5 judicial officers

judicial-service-roomThe Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Police is set to begin investigations into the bribery scandal in which some judiciary officers and police officers have been allegedly captured on camera taking bribes.

The CID will today question five Police and judicial officers who have so far been identified in the video and may face interdiction.

The move follows a petition forwarded to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Attorney General by investigative journalist, Anas.

More than 80 judicial officers were captured on the said investigative piece, allegedly taking bribes to influence judgment.

34 lower and high court judges have been indicted for allegedly taking bribes to influence their decicion in a video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
