AMERI II Saga: Nana Addo must apologize to Ghanaians- Asiedu Nketia

Ghana Politics News-The General Secretary of the opposition NDC party Mr. Johnson Aseidu Nketia says the dismissal of Energy Minister Boakye Agyako was long overdue given the voluminous of blunder he had committed during his tenure in office as minister.

According to the renowned general secretary, Boakye Agyarko acted in bad faith and should have resigned long ago before his sack.

Speaking on Oyerepa breakfast show this morning, Mr. Aseidu Nketia however, wants the president to go beyond the sacking and act swiftly on the issues on which he was sacked arguing that, this is not the first and the last of it.

Mr. Aseidu Nketia also alluded to the fact that he (Agyarko) was incriminated during his vetting process by Hon. Mahama Ayariga for paying bribe to the vetting committee to pave his way through.

“A committee was set up to investigate the allegation but the outcome was not convincing enough”, he said.

Mr. Aseidu Nketia insists the President must apologize to Ghanaians for allowing himself to be misled into assenting to a fraudulent deal.
