Amasaman Public Employment Center Hosts Career Guidance Workshop

The Amasaman Public Employment Center has organized a career guidance workshop for job seekers and national service personnel in the Ga West Municipality, aimed at educating them on the core functions of the Labour Office.

During the event, held on Friday, a consultant from GIZ, Madam Stella Etse, emphasised the importance of self-discovery and encouraged participants to explore their potential to achieve their career aspirations.

The workshop included interactive sessions, presentations, and activities aimed at fostering self-discovery and providing valuable information for decision-making.

Participants also engaged in extensive one-on-one career counseling with trained counselors from the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment.

In his closing remarks, the Head of the Amasaman Public Employment Center, Mr. Amadu Hussen, expressed gratitude to all counselors and participants.

He reassured them that his office was committed to providing ongoing professional support to workers and job seekers throughout the municipality.

The project was partnered by the European Union, German cooperation DEUTSCHE ZUSAMMENARBEIT, the Ghanaian-European Centre for Jobs, Migration and Development, the Support to the Private and Financial Sector (PFS) Programme, the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment, and the Ghana Education Service, with implementation by GIZ (GmbH).
