A letter to a dear friend in grief

Dear JM:

John-MahamaIt is terrible to hear about your loss; words may not be sufficient to express my heartfelt sorrow, and the way I feel for the passing of your mum.

I never met your mum, but for her to bring up a God-fearing and one of the finest presidents of our time gives an impression of the kind of person she was. A good heart has stopped beating; and I believe a good soul has risen to heaven.

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. May God give you the comfort and peace to mourn your beloved mother. You will always be in my thoughts and prayer.

Your friend,

Anthony.
