5 BECE candidates collapse in Kintampo North

examFive candidates writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE have collapsed in the course of the exam.

During the Mathematics Paper on Wednesday at the Jema Methodist Junior High School, the candidates began to collapse.

The reason for the collapse is not immediately known but the affected candidates were rushed to the Jema Government Hospital where they were treated and discharged.

The BECE; a weeklong national exam for graduating Junior High School pupils began last Monday without incident within the municipality.
