Kwabena Donkor talks too much – Kabila

Dr-Kwabena-DonkorA member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh says Power Minister, Dr. Kwabena Donkor has failed to bring any meaningful change in the lives of Ghanaians since he assumed office.

According to him, the minister only enjoys ‘talking too much’ and has failed to live up to expectation.

He has therefore called on the president to sack him.

“Mahama must sack Kwabena Donkor because he talks too much without fulfilling his promises. We need uninterrupted power supply, but the ministry has done nothing to alleviate the plight of Ghanaians,” he said.

Dr. Kwabena Donkor promised to solve the energy crisis by the end of this year.

He assured Ghanaians that he would resign should the power shortages continue from January 1, 2016.

However, the countdown is on as the year gradually comes to an end but little appears to have been done to remedy the situation though the much-awaited power Karpower barge has arrived at Tema.

The emergency barge is expected to deliver 225MW of power to ease the load shedding regime.

Dr. Kwabena Donkor stated at the inaugural ceremony of the Karpower barge’s docking at the Tema Harbour that “the arrival of this barge will not solve all our problems”.

This, according to the CPP man, popularly known as Kabila shows how incompetent the NDC government, especially the power ministry, has been in solving the erratic power supply.
