13th Duke Edinburgh’s Award forum: President honours YPYC Founder  for youth development

Founder  and President of Young Professionals and Youth Coalition (YPYC); Mr. Andy Osei Okrah, received special recognition at the 13th Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Forum 2018 for his contribution towards the growth and development of young people in Ghana.

The Head of State (HOSA) Award was presented to him by the Chief Patron, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He was honoured in the presence of the Chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Foundation, His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex UK, the Secretary General of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Foundation, Mr. John May and a World Fellow and the Chairman of the Ghana Forum 2018 Planning Committee, Mr. Albert Essien with delegates from over 130 countries gathered  in Accra.

The Head of State Award Scheme, Ghana, is a member of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation that engages young people in exciting self-developing programmes worldwide.

Mr. Andy Okrah is also the Host and Organizer of a flagship national human capital programme which is Young Professionals Transformational Leadership Conference and Young Professionals Role Model Awards dubbed (Transform Summit) which enters its 10th year next year.
